Sthira & Sukha...

Finding Balance Between Steadiness & Ease

What is ENOUGH in this moment?

Spend a day exploring steadiness and ease through two distinctly different approaches to embodied yoga practice. Discover what shifts when you slow down, pay attention, and ask: What is enough in this moment?

What to expect at this workshop...

Steadiness...

Explore structure, alignment, and presence through Amy’s Iyengar-based practice.

Ease...

Shift into a somatic practice with Kris, where curiosity, sensation, and choice lead the way.

Curiosity...

Experience two very different approaches to yoga and get curious about what each one reveals.

Space...

A full day to step away from your usual responsibilities, connect with yourself, and simply practice.

Inside the Day...

Two practices. One exploration.

We'll begin together with a short heart-centered Kundalini practice before moving into Amy's Iyengar-based exploration of steadiness,

using alignment, structure, and support to bring you fully into your body.

After a spacious lunch break, we'll shift gears completely. Kris will guide you through a somatic exploration of ease, moving away from structure and toward sensation, curiosity, and choice.

Two very different practices.

Two different ways of paying attention.

And throughout both, an invitation to notice:

Where is the steadiness? Where is the ease? And what is enough for me right now?

Who is this for?

Enough is for you if...

  • You’re craving a day that belongs entirely to you.

  • You’re curious about what your body might tell you when you slow down enough to listen.

  • You want to explore yoga beyond simply “doing the poses.”

  • You’re interested in experiencing two very different approaches to practice—and noticing how you respond to each.

  • You’re navigating the balance between holding steady and allowing more ease in your life.

  • You simply want to move, breathe, learn, and spend a beautiful day in practice with other people.

You don't need an advanced yoga practice—or even a particularly consistent one. You just need to be willing to show up curious.

The women behind Enough...

Kris Batzner

Somatic Yoga Coach, Kundalini Yogi

Hi! I’m Kris, a Somatic Yoga Coach and life-long Yogi...

For nearly two decades, I’ve been helping people reconnect with their bodies through breath, movement, and awareness. My work is about guiding you back to yourself, helping you feel at home in your body and in charge of your life.

I believe transformation doesn’t have to come through pushing harder or doing more. It begins when you slow down, listen, and trust what your body is already telling you.

As someone who has navigated my own seasons of transition, I’m passionate about helping others, especially women, move through their major life moments with grace, compassion, and ease.

You don’t need to be flexible or have it all figured out. You just need to show up, breathe, and let your body lead you home.

Amy LaPorte

Certified Yoga Instructor, Owner of Silpa Yoga Studio

My name is Amy and I love the practice of yoga and sharing my knowledge with others.  With over 20 years of personal practice and 15 years of teaching experience, my classes bring steadiness, depth, and thoughtful refinement. My studies have included vinyasa, anusara, kundalini, restorative, and ashtanga yoga. For the past six years, my personal practice has been devoted exclusively to Iyengar yoga, with its emphasis on precision, alignment, and disciplined progression.

My teaching reflects this evolution. I am known for my careful attention to detail, clear instruction, and ability to meet students where they are. My approach is supportive yet structured — encouraging steady growth, body awareness, and confidence over time.

Questions? We've got you...

Do I need to be experienced at yoga?

No. You don’t need an advanced, or even particularly consistent, practice. Come with curiosity and a willingness to explore. The day will include both a structured Iyengar-based practice and a more exploratory somatic practice.

What should I bring?

We’ll send you all the details before the workshop, including what to bring and anything you’ll need to know to feel comfortable and prepared.

What if I've never done anything like this before?

Perfect. You don't need to know how to “do” a retreat. This is simply a day to practice, explore, pay attention, and give yourself some space.
